SHIFT HAPPENS.
And we DARE you to embrace it.

The Social Lights dare you to Shift to Social this 2012. We mean shift your advertising or traditional marketing budget to social media strategy, monitoring and creative campaigns. There is something big, something mysterious, something almost magical happening. Social Media is getting harder, better, faster, stronger…just ask Kanye West & Daft Punk.

Harder to stay on top of all the new developments.
Better way to connect with your customers and audiences.
Faster and more efficient vehicle of communication.
Stronger brand awareness and increased brand satisfaction.

The shift to digital advertising and communications is occurring rapidly and many companies are left dazed in the dust. So take the leap! It feels like a gamble – letting go of the tried and true, stepping out of the comfort zone, exploring new Internet territories…but unlike the Dow Jones, the return on your investment will be in the black!*

*As long as you take the right approach, strategically plan your social calendar, and get creative with your content and messaging strategies!

**We are by no means affiliated with, paid by or supportive of Kanye West. Especially after what he did to Taylor Swift at the VMAs.

A Bit of Background on the Advertising Industry

For decades, advertising was focused on telling people what they should want and why. The recent surge of social media marketing has changed that, allowing companies to engage consumers in a different way. Now, the focus is on conversing with consumers—marking a fundamental shift in marketing.

The rise of digital advertising, below-the-line promotions (short-term incentives such as coupons, gifts and refunds) and growth in viral marketing campaigns will negatively affect traditional advertising. Reconciling client demands, changing media consumption habits and increasingly fragmented demographics will continue to strain advertising agencies. In order to reach a mass audience, large agencies will acquire niche agencies or start divisions specializing in integrated promotional campaigns – centered around social media. In many cases, agencies that offer digital services are able to better measure results, ensuring a greater return on clients’ investments.

So what are you waiting for? It’s time to SHIFT.
