Kelsey is Community Manager, Disney fanatic, and park-goer.
Kelsey comes to The Social Lights after a year with The Walt Disney Company and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Journalism (Strategic Communication). At Disney, Kelsey worked in the Talent Acquisition Marketing Department, crafting social content and messaging to attract future cast members.
Social media’s ability to take a concept or conversation and establish relevance in various communities has always intrigued Kelsey, and it’s the brands that make an effort to create content for its audience, rather than “just because,” that make a lasting impression when she’s scrolling her feeds.
When she’s not helping a brand foster fan loyalty, you can find her hanging out with her dog, Harvey, lip-syncing, or watching soccer. She’s always looking for new things to try or hobbies to take up, which led her to her most recent project, learning to crochet.
