Zuck’s got 99 problems and an LLC is one
It’s a girl! In a gooey heartfelt letter to Max, their newborn daughter, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, promised to give 99% of their wealth – a mere $45 billion – to charity this week. Why? To advance human potential and promote equality in the next generation, of course. Not so fast, Zuck. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative was setup as an LLC, which could help him avoid paying taxes on his fortune. Unfortunately, it’s not the only restaurant saying goodbye to 2015. Loring Kitchen and Bar is closing on December 14. Damn, we’re gonna miss those bento boxes and bottomless mimosas.
