Kitties Can Enjoy A Latte, Too
Meow Mix Espresso? Perhaps, perhaps. You know where this is going, right? There’s a new cat cafe in town. Well, almost. Cafe Meow will feature a separate room for the furry felines but has yet to select a location. The cafe would be like any other, serving coffee and pastries, charging a slight fee for the separate cat room. Where did the idea come from? The creators heard Cat Cafes were extremely successful in Japan, thus sensing a trend. That’s it folks, we have a cat video festival, Saintly City Cat Club and now Cafe Meow. Finally, cats are taking over the world. Just like they planned.

We Love Our Pet Community So Much That…
Here’s a little something to warm that spot in your heart where soft piles of puppies live. People and Pets Together opened in Bloomington last Sunday, setting up to support people and their pets. If owners are having financial issues or extra medical bills, the business will be there to help out, keeping the fear of losing pets out of locals’ minds. Cue the warm fuzzies we’ve been waiting for.

Muddy Waters Heads to Lowertown (So Hot Again™)
We’re sure you’ve spent numerous summer evenings on the Muddy Waters’ patio in Uptown, sipping tastefully recommended hops and daintily thinking about their perfect pizza. If not, we’ll judge (if only for the remainder of this paragraph). Lucky for all of us, the Muddy Waters team has opened Dark Horse on the other side of the river. Decked with floor to ceiling windows, Dark Horse will shine as the new neighborhood watering hole. Dual happy hours and “I’ll-have-one-more” prices ($2.45-$4 beer and wine) flaunt their stuff. Dark Horse is open now, and you should go.
