The power of a social brand is in bringing people together. So when one of the biggest social platforms debuted a new capability for combining two profiles sharing the same content, our team at TSL was quick to jump in and test it out.
Last month Twitter introduced a new tweet method called CoTweets, where two accounts can share a tweet. We worked ahead to help our clients become some of the first (if not *the first*) brands to experiment with the feature — including this tweet from Bugles and Chex Mix and this tweet from Fruit By the Foot and Fruit Rollups.
The future of the CoTweet capability could have significant impact on sponsored influencer posts (similar to shared posts on Instagram), increased engagement across dual brands, and real-time opportunities incorporating influencers, guests, or partner brands sharing content on official channels across multiple audiences. Have you seen a co-tweet in the wild yet?
