They’re new around here!
Jaclyn Hansel
From rappelling off 20-story buildings to a exploring abandoned brewery caves this girl craves adventure, always with a camera by her side. Jaclyn left Iowa State University with a degree in visual communications, a passion for telling stories and a hunger to never stop learning.
Always getting her hands dirty, Jaclyn started a fashion and lifestyle, online magazine and blog in the Twin Cities called Bow & Arrow Magazine. Just one taste of creating this online social presence and Jaclyn was hooked. This endeavor was a catalyst in her decision to pursue a career in social media and ultimately what connected her with The Social Lights.
While not constantly refreshing her Instagram feed you can find her strolling the town pretending to be a foodie, salsa dancing up a storm, or at the beach writing her next best-selling children’s book (which also happens to be her first).
Hailing from a small town in Southern Minnesota that you probably haven’t heard of, Zach wanted to shed the flannel and jeans lifestyle. So he hitched his oxen to a covered wagon and took I-35 S all the way to Drake University in Des Moines. While studying advertising and marketing Zach quickly took to the creative side of things. Wanting to push the limits of content creation and branding he found his outlet in social media. Combining creativity with strategy to get engaging content is like walking and chewing bubblegum. If he isn’t digging through the Internet for the latest Timberwolves rumors, Zach is trying to perfect his grilling technique, and still enjoys a good flannel shirt.
