February has been a big month for us and we have several new and exciting announcements to share with you.

1. Opening New Doors

The Social Lights worked with the UST MBA program and the talented production crew at Cape Status to create this humor video.

2. The Shanty at O’Gara’s is Now Open!

The Shanty opened on February 3rd 2012 taking the place of the O’Gara’s Garage music venue. The completely remodeled space features  HDTVs, shuffleboard, games and trivia nights. O’Gara’s new space channels the traditional Irish haunt, complete with vintage Guinness signage and painted barrel top tables.The Shanty also boasts an extensive craft beer list and popular State Fair appetizers. The Social Lights are excited to be the official social media + marketing team behind The Shanty at O’Gara’s!

3. O’Gara’s Bar and Grill – New Menu Photoshoot
The Social Lights had the pleasure of working with Scott, the head chef at O’Gara’s Bar & Grill, and Bill Hickey of Hickey Photography to create a beautiful collection of food photography to showcase their new menu. The menu, debuting later this month, will feature specialty burgers, popular State Fair appetizers and our favorite, the mile high ice cream cake!

4. FINNEGANS Beer it Forward App

The FINNEGANS Beer it Forward iPhone App is Now Available!

We are excited to announce that FINNEGANS has a brand new iPhone App that supports their mission of turning beer into charity – with the help of social media! The app, titled Beer it Forward, loads your friends’ recent Foursquare check-ins, and lets you send money to them via PayPal to buy a FINNEGANS in an instant.
